stone

stone builds an assembler, a C compiler, libc, and an OS from a hand-encoded 256-byte binary. Each stage uses artifacts from earlier stages. The toolchain also builds tcc; successive tcc self-builds on stone's OS are byte-identical to each other and to the cross-compiled reference. Explore sixteen stages and run the examples in an RV32 browser emulator.
